Elevator Pitch :
Smash Escape & Pickles was a VR game where you played as a space traveler who crash-lands in a small area of an alien planet.
The goal was to gather resources and find key items around the map to rebuild your ship and escape a planet that’s about to blow up.
But of course, you’re not the only one trying to get off this planet.
It was the very first project I worked on with my partner at Brain Up, Vincent. He handled most of the Game Design and the Technical Director role (3D modeling, rigging, texturing, animation…) and also did development on Unity.
My work :
I was in charge of creating visual designs tied to our lore, and I also provided creative input on the character designed by Marc Bouyer.
I handled the first 3D environments for the VR testing phase on the Meta Oculus Quest.
